Description
Some time ago Kerowyn6 suggested I drew Lord Vetinari. And now, 75 years later, here he is! I was a bit hesitant, because he's probably my favourite Discworld character ever, and I was worried I wouldn't do him justice. Then again, if I don't step out of my comfort zone, I'm not exactly going to learn anything new, am I?
I'm not 100% happy with the final outcome, so I might revisit this piece when I have some more time. Designing his clothes was a nightmare, because I couldn't balance the black-on-black-on-black-with-some-more-black with my need of fancy robes AND make it all look sensible.
Which Discworld character should I draw next? And Nobby is out of the question. My skills will never be good enough to even try to portray the amazing visage of Cecil Wormsborough St. John Nobbs.

This is so ridiculously on the button its unreal. Like, this IS Vetinari. This, I think, is exactly what most people sort of visualise.
